Your day-to-day, broadly speaking:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies while managing the accuracy of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Prepare and analyze financial reports, develop financial models and forecasts to support decision-making, and manage the budgeting process, monitoring variances. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals, and provide financial insights to senior management for strategic planning. Evaluate and track aircraft leasing transactions, asset performance, and investment returns, while implementing internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain the integrity of financial records.

You need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience (experience in aviation or asset leasing a plus)
CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Bonus: Experience in institutional finance, private equity, investment banking and/or aviation/aerospace.
