Job Description

The Comptroller for BBEDC has the responsibility for the preparation of all internal and external financial reports for a 501 (c)(4) corporation with investments in the seafood industry and a suite of in-region programs designed to support its 17 member communities in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska. Works Closely with the Chief Financial Officer to 1) assist with planning, implementing, directing, and supervising all financial transactions of the corporation;2) support annual financial auditing and tax preparation;3) support Program Directors with financial reporting and developing budgets;4)monitor the corporation's deposits and cash flow;5)maintain the corporation's insurance policies; 6) oversee aspects of accounts payable and payroll; and 7) maintain a robust system of internal controls.
