Managing an Accounting Practice

OBJECTIVES: To aid members in improving their ability to deal with the management of their practice.

GENERAL DUTIES:

1. Identify and study problems relating to the management of an accounting practice, and to assist members in the effective management of their professional firms.

2. Publicize to members matters of interest relating to practice management.

3. Make committee available to the Continuing Professional Education Committee for input on courses relating to practice management.

WORK PROGRAM:

1. Establish a list of topics.

2. Establish the type of meeting (i.e. luncheon or breakfast).

3. Schedule meetings and publicize to the membership of the Society.
